The Sky Lodge
A new landmark for Old Town and Park
City
"A Day in
the Life"”
....The Sky Lodge is the only
five star resort in historic
Old Town and the new standard
for luxury vacation home
ownership for Park City
and the Mountain West.
....The Sky Lodge embraces the
history and culture of
Park City. It takes the
bohemian flavor of Old Town and adds the luxurious
appointments, attention
to detail, and full range
of services found only in the world's
top boutique resorts.
....The Sky Lodge is a hand crafted
work of passion that will
be enjoyed by generations
of owners and guests.
The Sky Lodge inspirations are rooted in the traditions and culture of Park City which transformed a rustic mining village into one of the world's top mountain resort communities. The rugged, yet eloquent, Rocky Mountain lifestyle that defines Park City is felt throughout the Lodge. A reverence for our native materials, an awareness of our unique history, and a focus to creating a sense of place - these paradigms guide the design of the Lodge. Our sense of adventure, our love of the outdoors, our fun loving casual approach to living well creates the benchmarks for the culture and spirit that breathe life into the building.
In achieving its full potential, The Sky Lodge
is more than a "mountain house" for owners and guests. The great small resort hotels are not inspiring or enduring solely because of their physical presence. They are places where we reconnect with nature, with our loved ones, with ourselves. Places with simple elegant attention to detail from caring people. Places where the art of hospitality is honest, straightforward and uncompromised. Places where life experiences are common place.
The Hotel
The finest boutique hotels and resorts always have one distinguishing trait that separates them from their more commercial counterparts
Each guest is an individual person with individual
needs. The great small hotels of the world pride themselves in
anticipating every one of those needs and creating for each guest
a personal experience that is beyond their expectations.
The Living Room - Reception & Concierge
Upon arriving members and guests are greeted by the valet and escorted through an inner courtyard that separates the bustle of Heber Avenue from The Sky Lodge. Within this courtyard is a garden oasis complete with a water and fire feature and garden area with unique containers filled with evergreens and flowers in season.
Beyond the courtyard is the hotel living room
and reception area which will serve as the point of contact
and information for the resort members and guests. Unlike traditional
hotels the Reception Desk is residential in tone and provides
a more personalized arrival experience. It is more a point of
welcome than a place of function as all members and guests
are registered in their residence.
Next to the Reception area
is an intimate seating area
where a guest can wait for a friend or simply sit and enjoy
the theater of life as people come
and go from the Lodge. Within
this area are a signature fireplace and an "espresso bar" where specialty coffees, herbal teas, fresh juices, as well as wine and champagne, are available throughout the day.
Across from the Reception area is the Concierge.
The Concierge or "keeper of the keys" is the "experience planner" for each member or guest while in residence. Getting reservations that no one else can, knowing where the best shops are, having personal connections with the best guides and tour operators, making every problem disappear. Those are the goals of the concierge staff. The Concierge ensures that each owner's residence is personalized before arrival, that each guest gets a printed and personalized itinerary for events planned prior to arrival, and that all guests are contacted after arrival to offer any assistance during their visit.
Part of the Concierge team is the Bell Staff.
This group of people is an essential element of the Hotel Team
as they are the first and last impressions for all the guests.
In addition to providing the services of valet parking and
luggage coordination, the Bell Staff set the tone for the entire
guest experience with that warm greeting upon arrival, the
friendly greetings at the door each day, and a sincere farewell
upon departure.
Housekeeping & Guest Services
The key to any great hotel is the quality and consistency of the housekeeping staff as well as the look and feel of the guest amenities in each residence. At the Lodge guests receive twice daily maid service to ensure that their residence is kept at the highest level of cleanliness. In addition to top quality furnishings, beddings and linens the toiletries provided are unique, uncompromised and of a size that is gracious. At each maid service the rooms receive new ice in the ice buckets and complimentary bottled water. A fresh flower bud is placed in the bath and by the bedside. A complimentary newspaper - of the guests' choice is delivered to each residence in the morning. In room coffee service with signature products and lush robes with slippers in the closet complete the morning revival. Members and returning guests receive a welcome gift from the General Manager along with a personalized hand written card.
At all occasions, the Lodging Staff endeavor to
make every guest feel as if they
are "in residence" not "checked in".
In the 24/7 wired world of cell phones, e-mail, and laptops it is not enough to go on a simple vacation anymore. Now, our members and guests need to elevate their vacation experience into something more meaningful—where they come back renewed and revitalized. The Amatsu Spa at Sky Lodge is designed to provide that difference.
The traditional Japanese bath ritual dates back over 700 years and is known as the "ofuro." The Japanese bath means much more that just getting clean. Having shed your clothes and daily concerns, you step into the ofuro and sink slowly into the deep, pure and clean hot water. Soaking, submerged to the chin, it is a time for relaxation and contemplation, a sensual pleasure and a feeling of well-being and harmony with the natural surroundings. The entire experience of the Amatsu Spa celebrates the spirit of the "ofuro".
The Spa is an intimate size. With approximately 5,500 square feet of interior area the Spa features a reception area with a tea and tonic café and retail area. Guests are escorted to separate locker areas which have full length lockers for each guest, private showers and toilet rooms, and the Bath Room with private and communal handmade wooden ofuro soaking tubs. With only four individual treatment rooms and one couples treatment room the serenity and personal comfort of each guest is assured. Located within the Spa is a Zen inspired meditation room for relaxation before and after individual treatments.
In keeping with the personalized nature of the Lodge, the Amatsu Spa is run on a reservation system to ensure proper time and staffing for each guest. Rather than booking a "treatment" from a menu of services, guests at The Amatsu Spa book time and a custom session is crafted for them by the Amatsu Spa Concierge.
The Fitness Center
Located on the ground floor, the Fitness center has a two lane indoor lap pool, a work out area with state of the art cardiovascular equipment with individual TV's and resistance training equipment as well as an open area for stretching, yoga, and tai chi. Regular training classes, as well as the services of private instructors, are available throughout the year.
The Restaurant & Bar
The discriminating high end traveler today expects not only a wide variety of recreational amenities but also a large menu of guest services and entertainment venues. In today's resort marketplace the quality and public acclaim of the resort's restaurants is as important as the rating of the recreational facilities.
The Easy Street Brasserie
Open since 2002, The Easy Street Brasserie has quickly become a favorite amongst
local and visitors alike. Featuring contemporary bistro cuisine
in the style of great French country restaurants, Easy Street
Brasserie has won recognition from regional and national publications
for not only its food but its service and décor.
The Bar Boheme
Located downstairs from the Brasserie, The Bar Boheme is a very popular "watering hole" for the citizens of Park City. Featuring an extensive wine cellar, live jazz, a sunny deck with fire pit, and a burger that would make even the French proud the Bar Boheme is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes.
The private retreat for the members and guest while they are in residence. Located on the Third Floor, The Sky Club has the look and feel of an urban roof top retreat. The entrance is discrete and accessed only with a special pass. The appointments of the interior allow the owners and guests of the hotel to relax and enjoy the company of other owners and their invited guests. The style and type of furnishings mirror that of the private residences.
The Sky Club deck, overlooking Main Street and the ski runs of Park City, features a large soaking grotto, fire pit, outdoor grill kitchen and lounge chairs to enjoy the mountain sun during the day or shooting stars at night. Open daily with a dedicated staff the Club's key features are a lounge area with full bar, comfortable seating areas, a TV area with 42" flat screen, and a private nook with computer for business issues. On a daily basis Owners and hotel guests enjoy complimentary continental breakfast and a members' cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres at 5 pm.
The Conference Facilities
A key element to the success of the Lodge as a resort
hotel is its ability to attract a destination visitor base in
the soft periods. To accomplish this, the Lodge, in addition to
other amenities, uses its top quality meeting facilities to ensure
it attracts and thrills the best regional and limited national
professional, incentive, and social groups.
The catering operations
have as a benchmark of quality
a dedication to creating events that are tailored to the individual
needs and personality of the
members and guests. Unlike
commercial hotels with a series of "canned" menus
and themes, the Lodge is known for exacting presentations and
unique approaches to every facet of a catered event. Meeting breaks
and buffets have decorative display pieces that accentuate the
visual appeal. Food presentations on the buffets have calligraphy
place cards that describe the items served. Served meals not only have highly stylized plated presentations from the kitchen
but utilize gueridons to upgrade the service drama with carved
items, flambé dessert service and formal Russian platter service
for each table.
Conferences at the Lodge have the fit and finish
of a corporate headquarters.
Logo notebooks, top quality pens, assorted hard candies, chilled
bottled water are set for each
participant. The best quality
audio visual presentation equipment is available for rental. Daily
secretarial service is available
for a fee as well as an executive
office set up with fax, printer, and ergonomic work stations to
ensure each meeting is a complete
success.
The Owner Storage Area
Each owner is allocated a lockable storage unit. The storage areas, which are located in the parking structure, can be accessed by owner, if desired, or the hotel staff can bring and return items to the bin upon arrival and departure.

personal mountain retreat. With
an average unit size of over
2,000
square feet the residences
at the Lodge combine superb finishes
and attention to detail with
the ultimate luxury.... the space
to relax and unwind.

The strength, the simple beauty and the calm grandeur of the Rocky Mountains are honored in the selection and treatment of the natural materials used in The Sky Lodge.
